After Life
What i am about to write may shock some of you. I have been thinking about death. What would it be like if i were to die tonight? what if today was my last day? i am not worried about myself or what would happen to me. I know that by God's grace, my life is in Christ. Having been redeemed by Christ's death on the Cross, death can only mean one thing: life in the Presence of God! That is far greater than anything else. But, my struggle is about those whom i leave behind. i am especially thinking about Rhema and Yohanen. As i struggled and thought through such things i begin to discover that what is really important in this life. By God's mercy, i pray that He would give me the opportunity to love my wife and not to take this God given person for granted. i also pray that God would give me an opportunity to be a father to Yohanen. This is one of the things that i long for with all my heart. nevertheless, God's arm is never too short and He is able to carry out His good purposes even in the midst of life's shortcomings. I wake up from this shock with a thought that life is short, and what we have now is a gift of God. We should never take it for granted. i pray that God will help me to make good use of every opportunity that He gives me to live this life for Him and to make a significant contribution in the lives of people.
