Consecration
I am beginning to see that one needs to be "consecrated" if one desires to be used greatly by the Lord. This thought once again came to mind as i read 'A biography of John Sung' by Leslie T. Lyall. Unless, the whole of our being, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit is set aside for the Lord, how can we expect God to use us?
"In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work."
2 Timothy 2: 20 - 21

Very seasoned and blackened pots and pans, maybe some even dented, are used everyday in the kitchen before the food is transferred into clean and shiny platters to be brought before the King.
